Past and Current Client Portfolio
Baked Earth Bakery
Baked Earth Bakery is an award-winning, family-owned British bakery. Combining traditional recipes and baking expertise with modern manufacturing, Baked Earth creates ambient, chilled and frozen products.
Blue Turaco Coffee
Blue Turaco was founded by Ugandan coffee farmer Wycliffe Sande, who grew up picking coffee beans to help pay for his school fees and food. Today, Wycliffe is pioneering Ugandan Robusta, buying directly from smallholder farmers and challenging the coffee market. Every pack contributes towards school meals too.
Florette
The Florette story began in 1987. Today Florette is one of Britain’s best-known salad brands. Farmer-owned and backed by fresh-produce expertise, Florette combines convenience with focus on freshness, quality and responsible growing.
Sproud
Sproud was founded in Sweden, in 2018 by food-industry entrepreneurs looking for sustainable ways to challenge conventional dairy alternatives. Their answer was the yellow split pea. Sproud has grown from its Swedish beginnings into an international plant-based brand.
Baked Earth Bakery
JUGGLE was created by a food industry team who believed confectionery didn't need to be so complicated; do more with less and bring greater honesty and integrity ( and taste) to everyday treats.
Taj Foods
TAJ Foods has been bringing authentic ingredients and flavours to us since 1980. Still family run, today its range spans from exotic vegetables, herbs and root vegetables through to breads, pastry, street food.
alterego
alterego was founded by Rose Hancock. She recognised that cottage cheese was nutritionally impressive but that the category itself had become traditional, functional and often uninspiring. alterego set out to change that, deliberately bridging health and indulgence with 4 simple ingredients and strong nutrition without compromising on taste.
Kulcher Kitchen
Kulcher Kitchen grew from founder and chef Kyle Parchment's love of travel, food and the energy of his mother's kitchen. Its plant-based ready meals take inspiration from Caribbean, Indian and wider global street-food traditions, creating dishes built around bold flavours.
No Fairytales
No Fairytales launched its first vegetable tortillas in 2016, incorporating real vegetables into a familiar everyday product without sacrificing convenience or taste. The brand's philosophy remains refreshingly straightforward: healthier choices shouldn't feel difficult.
The Gym Kitchen
Founder Segun Akinwoleola created The Gym Kitchen in 2016 after becoming frustrated by the lack of healthier options that still delivered on taste. The result is convenient, flavour-led products with strong protein and considered calories. The Gym Kitchen has expanded across multiple supermarket categories while retaining its core beliefs.
Yumchop
YumChop was created by Abi and Michael Adefisan, drawing on the Nigerian family recipes, cooking traditions and flavours they grew up with. Launched in 2018, YumChop set out to make authentic African cuisine easier to discover and enjoy through convenient frozen meals.
Tommee Tippee
Tommee Tippee's story began with three brothers designed a baby cup with a weighted base so it wouldn't easily tip over and named it after their much-loved dog, Tommee. A British businessman invested, and Tommee Tippee officially began in 1965. Six decades later, it has become a globally recognised parenting brand.
What our clients say:
I worked with Rick for several years and was always impressed at his dedication, his high energy levels and his focus on delivery. The business is now a successful and growing entity in the major retail chains in the UK and Rick's contribution as Commercial Controller was hugely significant in achieving this growth. I would highly recommend Rick as a focussed professional who consistently delivers results
Alastair Chrystal LCH Dip - Managing Director
Rick worked for me for almost 3 years. This was initially on an interim basis and then for the last 2 years on a permanent basis. Rick's remit in leading the Diverse sales team was to significantly raise the operating standards, professionalism and overall commercial capability of the team. He completed this successfully despite high levels of change with the broader business. He successfully drove the distribution of of all our brands within the Impulse channel through the appointment / management of a 3rd party sales force. Rick tackled key issues and business challenges in a proactive manner with his portfolio of customers / team and achieved some creditable results.
James Langan - Managing Director
Rick is a highly experienced, very astute commercial leader with exceptional industry knowledge. Rick guided our business through some very tough periods and was instrumental in restoring our customer relationships following a period of lost business in both Asda and Tesco. Rick led the team to deliver game changing new business wins in new channels, launching channel specific NPD to allow us to win in these areas whilst protecting our core business. Rick led a team of commercial managers to recover our costs during an exceptional period of inflation, driven by various macro-economic factors. Rick’s knowledge, expertise, passion and will-to-win will make him a great asset to any business looking to deliver step change growth in the FMCG retail sector.
